Together, we'll identify purpose, tap the people to help, and generate a process that develops programs, budgets, policies, and efforts aligned to values and results. While we're at it, we'll amplify and celebrate what's already working. We will slow down to speed up.
Strategic Planning & Governance Support
In 2024, I co-facilitated a three-year organizational strategic plan for the Texas For All Education Fund, a statewide coalition of 11 member nonprofits working together to build a democracy in which all Texans are engaged. The strategic planning process included an assessment of the organization’s existing strategy and operations. An all-day strategy session was followed by small group and one-on-one discussions with all member nonprofits. We simultaneously supported the organization in formalizing its structure, including the development of bylaws and a board committee structure. We recommended a process by which to establish a Board slate, including an Executive Committee. Both the organizational strategy and operational structure were successfully adopted.
Organizational Strategy
In 2024, I facilitated a three-year organizational strategy for MOVE Texas, a statewide organization for mobilizing young voters. The strategic planning process included team building, aligning individuals and departments to organizational results. It also included an assessment of the organization’s existing strategy and operations. This included more intentionally outlining the work of the c3 and c4. The organizational strategy for both were successfully adopted.
Future Planning & Visioning Facilitation
In 2025, I facilitated a conversation and dreaming session for CompassionateUSA, a statewide movement for building compassionate communities. We walked through what was working, what could be strengthened, and what a compassionate community looks and feels like. This was followed by recommendations on how to implement the co-created vision.
